Yes, anytime you bleach hair to #613 Platinum Blonde that hair will be fragile and easier to break off due to the hair bonds being broken. Platinum Blonde Hair will require daily hydrating. We recommend using water, hemp Seed oil and a hydrating Conditioner to help maintain moisture.

7. What type of hair care products should I use?

 Treat this hair like your own hair. Use good quality shampoo and conditioning sulfate, silicone free, parabens free products (however I only recommend shampooing your extensions only when needed). If you over shampoo your hair extensions, they may become dry. Conditioning your hair is very important to keep it soft and manageable. We recommend using water, hemp seed oil and a hydrating conditioner to keep the hair moisturize. Silicone mix by Avanti is a good product to apply to your hair after to help maintain the newly applied moisture. You can use whipped shea butter to help with daily maintenance.

8. Do I have to do anything special before bed?

Yes, maintaining your hair extensions is a vital part of the upkeep. Tying your hair in a pineapple with a silk scarf before bed, will help lessen the de-tangling process in the morning (especially with curly/wavy hair). It is advised to add moisturizer to your hair before you put it in a pineapple up do, so your hair will be fully moisturized in the morning. This same process goes for our straight or wavy hair extensions, your hair extension will curl and straighten better if the hair is properly moisturized. Another important factor to remember is NEVER sleep on wet hair. Sleeping on wet hair is known to matte hair that makes it very difficult to keep the hair the way you want. Just make sure your hair is completely dry before you go to sleep, and you shouldn’t have anything to worry about. Rolling your hair in rods at night will maintain your curls and limit the amount of heat you use on your hair daily.

9. Morning and De-tangling?

We advise that you only de-tangle your hair when it’s fully saturated and moisturized. It's very important to use a wide tooth or paddle back brush using gentle strokes, when washing and or styling the hair. Small tooth and rat tail combs can snag the hair which can cause unwanted shedding. Gently brush your hair from the ends towards your scalp. Starting from the ends keeps the pressure off the weft area, this will help to maintain the longevity of the extensions. Wavy & Curly Hair: If you have wavy or curly textured hair extensions and plan to wear the hair wavy or curly you need to apply a curl defining/curl control cream while the hair is wet. This way it will stop the hair from frizzing and lock in the wave or curl in the hair.

10. How long can I wear my hair extensions for?

Schedule your re-attachment service appointments every 3-6 weeks. Wearing hair extensions longer than 6 weeks may cause damage to your natural hair, so its best to keep up with your hair extension maintenance.  

11. Can I go swimming?

You may go swimming in pools and hot tubs. We recommend braiding your hair or pulling it up into a ponytail before swimming to keep your hair from tangling. It is best to wash your hair right after swimming. Add a spray in conditioner or deep condition your hair extension after swimming.

12. How long does the hair last?

This hair can last for a very long time depending on how you maintain it. Treat it like your own hair and take good care of it and it will last longer. Depending on maintenance, hair will last

13. Why is the processing time so long on OUT OF STOCKS Raw hair collection hair extensions?

This is because the manufacturer in Vietnam needs time to source, sew and construct your wefts to your satisfaction, and each weft is constructed when payment for the order is received from customer. If you you are looking for hair with shorter processing time, we recommend our Sunflower hair Collection that has a much shorter processing time.
